Sandra Goossens

Sandra creates paintings centered on intimacy, light, and often a human presence. The compositions are carefully constructed, with a strong focus on atmosphere and emotional layering.

Light is a narrative element in her works. Reflections, color planes, and subtle transitions do more than just model form; they contribute to the emotional weight of the image. The artist explores how light can transform a space and reveal the inner world of the subject. The paintings balance between realism and interpretation, creating a tension between the everyday and the dreamlike, between what is seen and what is felt.
The viewer is not just an observer, but a participant in the moment.
