Liesbeth Meulman

For Liesbeth,

….. nature is her source of inspiration,
vistas, trees, birds, and flowers. The peace and
quiet of a place, the wonder of beauty.

…. the foundation is pure. Feeling serves as a guide, giving
direction, because painting with a rigid,
preconceived plan feels stifling. It’s counterproductive.

Her paintings are clearly recognizable and yet varied:
embracing the primary, the honesty of direct painting can be felt and
seen in all her works.
