BERNADETTE LEIJDEKKERS

Her paintings are expressive, full of life, and carry a strong emotional charge. She is inspired by life itself, flowers, people, encounters, animals, dance, jazz music, and movement.

Bernadette treats her work as an adventure, making grateful use of spontaneous ideas that arise by chance.

Abstraction and figuration alternate, often with human figures or flowers transforming into suggestions of movement.

The layered works have their own atmosphere and are accessible, inviting viewers to let their own imagination run wild.

Her works are colorful, full of positive energy, dynamics, and a zest for life.
